STREAMINGLY and DOWNFORCE CONTROL
on HIGH-PERFORMANCE VEHICLES

Speaker: Lennart Löfdahl
Professor Emeritus in Fluid Dynamics Vehicle Aerodynamics and Thermal Management
Mechanics and Maritime Sciences
Chalmers University of Technology
How does airflow truly behave, and what happens as speeds increase?
In January 1938, Mercedes and Rudolf Caracciola set a speed record that stood for more than 80 years: 432.7 km/h (268.9 mph) on the new motorway between Frankfurt and Darmstadt. Shortly afterwards, Bernd Rosemeyer attempted to break the record in his Auto Union. Something happened. He crashed at nearly 400 km/h — and lost his life.
Was it really a sudden gust of wind that caused the fatal accident, or a fundamental flaw in the car’s design. Perhaps we will learn the answer from someone directly involved in shaping the wings, forms and aerodynamic solutions behind some of the world’s most advanced supercars.

THE LAST LIVING LEGEND – GIOTTO BIZZARINI
Speaker: Clas Müller.
Advisor and Consultant at AddCulture
Sports Car Virtuoso & Racer
Giotto Bizzarrini was one of the final giants of a vanished era — a living legend until his passing at the age of 97 on 13 May 2023.
As Chief Engineer at Ferrari, he shaped some of the most revered machines ever to bear the Prancing Horse: the Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa and the immortal 250 GTO among them. In the autumn of 1961, after a dramatic conflict with Enzo Ferrari, Bizzarrini and much of Ferrari’s technical leadership walked out — a moment that would change motoring history. He founded his own engineering firm, Società Autostar, working as a consultant of rare brilliance. It was here he developed Lamborghini’s iconic V12 engine, and later entire cars for Iso.By 1964, the company carried his own name: Bizzarrini. From his workshops emerged the Bizzarrini 5300 GT — his own evolution of the Iso Grifo — followed by the P538, the Bizzarrini Europa, and other creations that have all become legends in their own right.

One man who came to know Giotto Bizzarrini personally — during his own honeymoon — is the sports-car virtuoso Clas Müller. Their unexpected meeting resulted in the creation of a Baby Bizzarrini, a concept that grew, developed, and eventually gave rise to a Swedish-built supercar. Clas’s story casts a remarkable light on how things were once done — and how the journey of creating a modern supercar can unfold today. With a brand and marketing oriented personality Clas also involve his thesis of ”A strong customer promise never becomes a true customer experience unless it is fulfilled. And even the best strategy remains unrealised without an internal culture capable of—and committed to—delivering it.
With long-standing experience in brand development, he have created the concept “AddCulture,” a framework that measures, analyses, and strengthens internal culture in relation to strategy and brand.
